Denzel is the G man, the silent foundation that does and makes things possible even when others cannot.
He is oftentimes not understood, and though it is okay with him, it feels like an enigma. He is the boss that serenaded the Indian actress, to the one in the Book of Eli. He lives and embodies every role. He plays a particular role even though there is a theme that runs through all of them, but that is who he is.
The man that is trying to find champions, seeing stars and potentials when others do not, and paving it in his own way. He is not the most popular. He is good looking, not the most charismatic actor. He has a thing for women, but that marriage with Pauletta. He can’t walk away.
