Part 1
Well, that is one doozy story.
In October 2018, I registered the domain, divinebananabread.com, but like many things in my life, it took a while to come to fruition. At the time, I was baking a lot of banana bread and cooking a lot of divine-inspired food, just delicious meals that nourished the Spirit.
Divine Cooking
The food came as pictures and sometimes would appear in my dreams. Then, I would intuitively create it. No creation is alike, and the food merges the day's energy with the people who will eat it.
Given the nature of these appearances, I knew the food contained an essence that the Spirit of the eater needed. To honor this process, I posted pictures online as an archive for future work.
I created many delicious meals but could only document a few. Many of the creations were gone to the wind. Spirit food does not easily lend itself to recipe development. While the food was one of a kind, people thought I had been cooking them for years.
Every time I enter the kitchen, it is a blissful convergence of spirituality, creativity, and production. It is after I have gone through the process that a recipe is born. So, whenever people ask for recipes, I give them a list of items and ask them to explore them because it is in doing that they connect with their Spirit.
As I journeyed on, I met eaters who always complimented the food as being something they needed but did not know. Their satisfaction was beyond physical nourishment. It made their soul smile and helped put them in a more relaxed state.
The Encounter in the Grocery Store
Earlier in the journey, I went to a local grocery store and met a big white man with a unique appearance. He was riding the wheelchair cart. He liked the items in my cart and asked my mom what she would make. At that moment, I appeared after selecting some products. He redirected the question to me after he learned that I was the cook. I fumbled around, trying to maintain my composure.
Finally, I explained what I did. He listened intently, and when I stopped narrating, he called me a “Spirit Cook.” He was the person that articulated the work in that way and called me what I was. It was such a remarkable gift and a meeting.
Getting the Domain for Divine Banana Bread
Now, back to these bananas. I got this prompt to register the domain divinebananabread.com. I was ecstatic and thought, eureka, I had hit the jackpot. I dreamed of the orders, the money pouring in, and my potential customers. I even calculated the price, which was given to me by someone who ate and loved the bread. Yet, I had nothing at that time and was not selling. As they said, it was all in the head; that is the business.
