She is not doing well. She has participated in a lot of things she should not have. She has not exercised caution or used her will to go against something that is not right. She has believed that what she did was justifiable, but she is no hero, and her hands are dirty, not clean.
She is not doing well. She has guarded herself and her life. She had lived a life, not of integrity, and can be quite mean, unnecessarily mean, and to make a point.
She is not doing well. Her entanglement with her brother is catching up with her. We hope she did enjoy her life, and what is left of it. The openness to give is not something she has been able to do. She is sort of like a bitter old lady, who missed her calling and did not enjoy the life she was sent. She lost her way and purpose and became a task keeper in a way she was not asked. She did not appreciate joy and laughter. Her handicap did affect her, but she could have shone brightly like the star she was.
The relationship between her and her brother is a bit complicated, to say the least. She made assumptions and believed what she wanted to believe. She did not inquire and did not pursue so that is a decision she willingly made, and nobody is responsible for that, except for her.
She is in old age, not aging with joie de vivre (came out as juie as in joy of life). All her decisions are catching up with her and she has to find ways to resolve it all.
Sophia is still around, though that relationship is fraught. It is like she had failed dreams, the little Sophia, but that is where they both tangle, not a great space to be. But she is in her twilight days. The light is dimming, and the ancestors await her.
Life is interesting until it is not, so many paths she could have taken. We tried our best, but she can be a miserable company. Sometimes you feel sorry for her, but she can be vindictive. Illness does not make you do that, people do that of their own free will.
Europe is not always the best place to be, but the people from the former colonies always go there.
Her work is still there, it is like she is there one day, and the next, she is gone, and not coming back. Her stuff will be settled and her brother will try to find what he can take. He is the scavenger but his own reckoning is coming. The picture is changing.
